The Carelet nikoⅡ is a motorized bed made for healthy people and people with a low level of nursing care needs. There are 9 combinations of the motor type, headboard, size, and mattresses to choose from. This care bed comes standard with two side rails and customers can choose from one of the three specialized mattresses in the “Eclave Series” to complete their three-piece set.

When using disposable 9V square batteries; if the battery power has diminished, and there is a blackout, you will have enough power left for only one lowering movement. We suggest you keep a note on when batteries are due to be changed, and change them when they are due. Failing to do so can cause battery leaks and explosions. Simply push the buttons on the controller as shown in the diagram to raise your back to the ideal position by starting with lifting your knees. Designed to keep the user’s back and knees at least 100 degrees apart regardless of their position, there is no need to worry about abdominal injuries. The back-sliding function prevents the body from sliding towards the foot of the bed when lifting the back, which reduces the effort required by the user’s family to help them up.
If the user’s knees are not properly positioned over the bending portion of the bed, the user’s body will slide towards the foot of the bed when lifting their back. Without having to customize the bed parts, the Carelet Series has three bending settings to adjust for the length of the user’s thighs, which prevents shifting and losing posture.
The back underside slides 3.5cm backward as the back rises. It reduces the compression on the abdominal area or on the back of the user. This special back lifting function is designed to cause compression not around the waist but around the shoulders so that caregivers can easily remove the pressure just by inserting a hand behind the user’s shoulder.
* Users who cannot move their own body should be especially cautious of pressure on their backs.
* Knee lifting cannot be independent
You may change the height of the bed when constructing the bed.

Ideal height is 0-5cm+height below knee including mattress depth.
* The height above does not include the depth of mattress. Please take into consideration the depth of mattress when deciding the final bed height.
* Height of bed is only adjustable when constructing bed, therefore reconstruction of bed is necessary to readjust bed height. Please decide the height of your bed BEFORE constructing your bed.
Just as the illustration, the motor mobilizes the back arm and pushes up the back underside indirectly. Since the back arm and back underside are detached, the back is not being pulled down directly by the forcing power of the motor when declining.
Motor used for back lifting in Carelet Series requires approx. 400 kg of strength. If in case these parts are attached, it requires the same amount of strength to decline back section, however for its detached structure, there is no risk for the strength of the motor to cause injury or catch objects underneath the back underside. This is called a free-fall structure.
The side rail can be attached to three sections on one side.
* On one side, the “Head & Mid-Section” and “Mid-Section & Feet” cannot be attached at the same time.
Easy to grip, 3.8 cm diameter wood is used.

It is said that we sweat a cup of sweat in one night. The longer we spend in bed, the damper the mattress becomes. This may lead to mold, which is also bad for our health.
Carelet Series beds is a wire mesh bed made with 4mm wires and allows the moist in the mattress to escape toward the floor.

* Not compatible with the bed grip
Two side rails are included in the standard package of bed frames. A maximum of 4 side rails can be attached to Carelet. Extra side rails are sold separately.
* Please note that tax exemption can only be applied when purchased with the bed. Tax exemption will not be applied when purchased later, separately from the bed.
* Bed grip (old “supporting bar”) and side rail cannot be attached to Carelet. Only special side rails are compatible. In case side rail is necessary, please choose one either from Primolet, Miolet or Ultilet series.
* At least 2 people are required when assembling the product.
* In case of combining Carelet with a gas lift bed side table, the table may interfere with the side rail when the bed is set up at maximum height. Click here for more details.
